Welcome to ALBA 27!
The Automotive Low-Voltage Battery Advancements (ALBA) Workshop has established itself as the go-to place for automotive 12 V battery experts discussing new requirements arising from vehicle electrification, functional safety and new power-supply topologies – as well as improvements in battery technology.
For 2027, ALBA will take place in Stuttgart, Germany, during the same week as Europe's largest battery trade show, The Battery Show. We will expand our coverage of new storage technologies for 12V and 24V automotive systems while continuing to provide a cutting-edge innovation forum for lead batteries, which are prevalent in many applications.
Advance Registration until 22 December 2026, offers exclusive benefits at a discounted registration rate:
- 4 virtual workstreams preparing the content of ALBA 2027 in shared test work and expert discussions (January to May),
- interactive Speakers' Day in Stuttgart on Wednesday 23 June,
- early versions of sizing tools and engineering guidelines for automotive power-supply storage, and
- an affordable hotel room, which otherwise is difficult to find in Stuttgart during trade fairs.
On Tuesday and Wednesday (22/23 June), several industry expert working meetings will take place at our venue. You may choose to visit The Battery Show Europe for half a day or a full day, too, in only 40 minutes travel distance. Our main workshop on Thursday and Friday will commence with technology tutorials, followed by express plenary talks and intensive breakout discussions on hot low-volt battery topics.
